If you mean within the last day or 2, probably. It takes about a day or two for the weather in AR to hit NC depending on speed and direction of movement, upper level conditions, etc....

It's aiming at Bama and Georgia within the next six hours. Just to think it started in Colorado at midnight and might be in Southern North Carolina and South Carolina by midnight.

Well i was reading this book: Rising Sun, The other night.

It's all about the aftermath of the war in the Pacific where, as our history told it, America won a great victory at midway, sinking four aircraft carriers of the Imperial Fleet, The Empire of Japan lost the surface war in that battle. However it all hinged on luck, The Submarine pickets around Midway were absent, delayed in Japan, in this version of history?

They were there.

The Enterprise, Hornet and one other American Aircraft carrier are sunk, in a combination of submarine and air based attack, The majority of America's carrier force in the Pacific is destroyed, while they are still reeling from Pearl Harbor. Only a singular american carrier: The Saratoga remains.

With Japan free to roam the Pacific unchecked, the Invasion of the Alaskan island of Attu becomes the first stage of the invasion of the Alaskan territory, the Japanese submarine and navy forces, harass the west coast mercilessly, San Diego it self is attacked directly in a battle resembling the assault on Pearl Harbor, they target is the naval installation at Mare Island.

It's scary to think that well...The AXIS despite them being completely outnumbered, and lacking the production capacity, were literally only a few gambles away from winning the war.

Imperial Japan would inevitably begin to lose ground in this alternate pacific war once American industry began replacing the grievous losses they felt, But because of how far they pushed, actually invading the American Territories, Terms for Surrender? Much better, This also delayed the Africa campaign by the Americans, Rommel successfully captured much of Libya in 1942 before American Boots ever struck dirt, With incentive actually on their side, The Germans were able to focus near entirely on the Russian Campaign and actually capturing Moscow in late 1942 in the last winter push. Spain officially joins the war as as a member of the AXIS, Gibraltar falls inside two months, the Mediterranean becomes a German lake.

With the withdrawal of the USSR, England and North America faced the realization that just as they were recovering from the wounds inflicted upon them by horrendous defeats. The Pacafic and Europe had changed ownership.

Haven't finished the book yet, but it seems likely that Peace is going to follow these victories, but erm...Terms are HEAVILY going to favor the AXIS.

It would be an odd world if Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan were still within it. So much would change.

I've been here since 2008. Summertime New nations aren't a phenomenon anymore because we always have them. Just because a thread seems badly crafted doesn't necessarily mean this person has intentions of trolling or baiting. We've all been new to fora at some point.
