Then explain how the foreign born population of the UK has doubled as a proportion of the general population over the last 20 years? Lies, damned lies...

So one idiot makes a crack about gays, big deal. I've voted Labour at all general elections since I turned 18. Suddenly i'm a member of the TEA party when I decide Miliband and his clique aren't cutting the mustard. Gimme a break...

Who cares if it doubled? 20% of Canada's population is now foreign born and they're doing fine. http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/canada-s-foreign-born-population-soars-to-6-8-million-1.1308179

It's not just the comments about the gays (of which there have been more than one), it the homeopathy, racism and climate change denial.
You may well be a reasonable individual, but a large number of the people who you are supporting and voting for are total wackjobs.

As opposed to the current lot who bail out banks or sell off national assets for pennies. Sorry you'll have to do better than that...

i just wanted to make sure you weren't trying to deny that UKIP opposes same-sex marriage by going "oh its just one crazy guy!".
i suppose its good you oppose it. well. it's bad. but at least you'll fit in. rah rah gays rah rah immigrants. we wouldn't want you to inadvertently support a horrible party. just to check, you're alright with fucking over the NHS too right? (let's test your true loyalty to what makes britain british)

So let's get this straight. I vote for a party (of which i'm not a member) and you expect me to be signed up to every dot and comma of that parties platform? I'll also be voting YES for Scottish Independence in September.

if you're going to complain about parties selling off national assets i expect you to not vote for a party that will sell off our national assets yes.
well, at least if you support scottish independence as well "UK" independence that is one point you're not a hypocrite on.

Except I did that and they lied. A famous example was Labour promising not to sell off National Air Traffic Control when in opposition. What did they do when in power?

and this is your excuse for voting for one that doesn't even pretend they won't and then complaining about it?
