nsg, is not the place for scholarly debate to begin with. that said learning works accross the ages, and old peoples learning readiness skills far suppass a childs.

Well it depends on what type of learning. Language, for example, is much easier to learn at a young age than at any other age. But don't worry, I'm not trying to make anyone smarter with scholarly debate. It's harder to teach internet fanatics than both children and senior citizens. :
