Gender is extremely important to many people and it absolutely does exist. Male and female are genders as well as sexes. Someone who has always belonged to the female gender while belonging to the male sex was always female. You do not address someone by their sexual organs, but their identity.

I honestly don't know why more people don't adopt. I mean, plus, you can skip out on all those baby stages, and jump straight to 5 or 6 year olds! And because you're adopting, you can survey all your options, so you can find a child with a personality and appearance you like.

With all the people the world has on it already, I just don't understand this strong social push to reproduce. There's got to be some biological impulse behind it I guess.

Well It depends how long we'd been together for. If for instance I'd seen someone a few times and they then told me I wouldn't think its dishonest. If I had been with someone for a LONG time and I hadn't been told I think I'd probably feel like I had been deceived.
