Because you clearly don't regularly follow the USMNT. They may not deserve to be ranked 13th, but I think their performances over the last year justify a top 20 spot.

Because a significant number of Americans still take pride in not liking, not following, not understanding, and not being good at soccer. I know it's anecdotal, but I have known people who dislike the game because other countries are good at it, and I'm related to one such "enlightened" soul who dismisses soccer as "a game only played by Commie fa**ots".

White is possibly related to the reigning House of Bourbon. Blue is most likely tied to the Dutch flag, and they still have Orange numbers.

Though they're both away jerseys.
