Of course it has to be affordable. It has to be more then that, it has to be free, fully covered by taxes. Universal healthcare is a must in any country that wishes to call itself a part of the developed world.

If she cannot conceive based on their advice because taking her off her meds while pregnant will be a much higher risk so that it is a bad idea, well resort to other methods, and if we decide to go for adoption Im undergoing sterilization.
