They're actually only 17 at the moment, so they were 10 back then. I don't think many people (especially the douchey audience who kept on booing them) realise how young they are.

Wow, I thought they were 22.

Nope, they are actually only 17, though based on looks alone I would of guessed around 22-23.

Well, there we go. Austria wasn't my favourite, but it was a good song nonetheless. I voted for Iceland, but obviously nobody else did, and of the main contenders I'd have liked Armenia to have won - it was a very good song once it got going. I was genuinely disappointed with how Britain did this year - I think there was a real optimism about the song, and it was a more than decent song in a field with no obvious stand-out performances. But we edged out Germany and France came last, so that's all good.

Also, Kasper from Borgen - yay!

I think Britain would have done better if Molly didn't literally sing last, that was probably what shot us in the foot. I mean the media definitely overplayed Britain's chances this year, but I think the song should of probably done better than it did.

Well, I am happy Austria won it. And shame on the people who think she didn't deserve it. She performed amazingly, and you can't expect a contest like this to not partially be about the spectacle. I really had my hopes up for Hungary though. Glad they at least got top 5.

She? Wasn't the Austrian song that guy with a beard? I thought he was only cross dressing. Was he actually really transgendered?

Purpelia does not reflect my actual world views. In fact, the vast majority of Purpelian cannon is meant to shock and thus deliberately insane. I just like playing with the idea of a country of madmen utterly convinced that everyone else are the barbarians. So play along or not but don't ever think it's for real.

No, but it's the preferred pronoun for her when she is in the role of Cochita Wurst, and it's Cochita Wurst that won.

Drag. It's common practice to call a drag queen she when they're being their stage persona.

There were a lot worse slots to have than last, though. Perhaps coming so soon after the Netherlands didn't help either.

You just go with whatever the person prefers. 9 out of 10 times, things go without saying, and other times, you just have to go with what the person tells you they are comfortable with.

I agree that Molly should have taken higher.

It's really okay, sometimes with years like Molly's, Cascada's or Greta Salome and Jonsi's, someone's bound to lose when a few (like Conchita, the Common Linnets, Sanna Nielsen) runs away with the majority of the votes, and the song just isn't strong enough to overpower those.
Represented permanently at the World Assembly by Benjamin Olafsen, and on an ad-hoc basis by Alethea Norrland and rarely Gaia Pao and Gabriel Dzichpol.
