Enver Hoxha was the Communist dictator of Albania from 1944 to 1985. During and after his reign, he was widely critiqued for his abysmal record on Human Rights and Freedom of Religion. However, some of this site and in the Communist movement still apologize for him. Is this right? Is Enver Hoxha an evil dictator or a hero of the proletariat?

I think that Enver Hoxha was an evil dictator who killed and oppressed his own people in the name of "progress", and should be viewed as such.
