That's entirely a matter of opinion, and depends on what parts of the Bible you choose to cherrypick.

Which "holy bible"??? There are at least a hundred different versions!

I think a counter-proposal to make The Gospel of the FSM would be better, because there is at least only one version of that book of truth. Lol.

Apparently the original draft calls for a specific historic bible, and as someone mentioned, it got switched for the generic KJV.

Violation of the separation of church and state is something everyone should care about.

Apathy to separation of church and state seems to be growing, which is a worrying trend.

Also repression, hatred, and homophobia.

The bible shouldn't be respected by the State.

As far as if it should be respected by people, that's a different discussion. I'll happily participate in it, but it's a totally different thread.

Do you have a source? Also do not bring a source from Leviticus or I will spam you to oblivion with arguments :P.

While it's unconstitutional, a state book? Really? How stupid is that?

Otherwise they couldn't declare homosexuality an abomination over lunch at Red Lobster wearing polyweave blend.
Crimes committed by Muslims will be a pan-Islamic plot and proof of Islam's inherent evil. On the other hand crimes committed by non-Muslims will merely be the acts of loners who do not represent their belief system at all.
The probability of one's participation in homosexual acts is directly proportional to one's public disdain and disgust for homosexuals.
If a political figure makes an accusation of wrongdoing without evidence, odds are probable that the accuser or an associate thereof has in fact committed the very same act, possibly to a worse degree.
Where is your God-Emperor now?
