Do you know what "Iran" means? That's right, it means "Aryan". The Achaemenid Persian Empire called their land "Iranshah" - Domain of The Aryans - long before Hitler thought up his half-cocked pseudo-anthropology and stole the term for himself.

Hitler didn't think up the "Aryan race" myth, it was around way before him. It was created by British scholars to try and justify Indian colonialism. It latched on with the Theosophical community, amongst others.

I'm also pretty sure that the Persians were not thinking of a race of blonde-haired, blue-eyed Nordic superhumans who mysteriously colonized and disappeared from the Middle East, when they used "Aryan."

I'm not a fan of race-mixing and it's not because of my flag, I assure you all. It's because it's not appropriate to raise a mixed child with two very different cultures that will most likely always oppose each other. You can't be just white or just black or just asian &c. because that's very unfair to the child.

Having multiple cultures is great, I was raised with multiple and I don't feel some internal struggle and I have never felt conflicted.

As was I, I am French/Syrian/Taiwanese. Needless to say, I'm a mutt.

The only discriminatory tendencies I have ever felt have always been against people of a foreign culture or people who participate in "ghetto culture". I dont really give a shit if the world becomes a morphed Asian/other races (considering Asians constitute 48% of humanity if we do become one race we are likely to look more like them than all other races) in 300-500 years. The only thing I am worried about is what our world will look like in the next 100 years (just past my max lifetime) from now, as long as America stays strong and Christianity stays well I dont give too much of a damn. The only thing I have definitely felt that would for sure be constituted as racist would be that I dont want any of my immediate descendants to have children with someone of a different race. That is because I want to be able to look at my grand-children and great-grand-children and see myself in their faces.

Given that I tend to be drawn to women outside of my race, I've accepted the fact that my biological children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren might not look much like me at all. For me, it is not a big deal. What is a big deal for me is that my future sons and daughters understand the importance of loyalty towards family and love towards friends, that they let NOTHING come between them and their brothers and sisters, and they always strive to act in a spirit of generosity and love towards others. The other big deal is that their mother and I love each other unconditionally and are able to show our love to each other in ways that are meaningful to the other person.

Of course, the only loyalty I want my children to feel before family is toward religion. There is something to be said for one side of the family containing 1/2 (insert race here) members and being isolated by the rest, also that it would be easier to demonize someone who doesnt necessarily look like you and isolate them from family. It is good to see that other people place as much importance on family as I do though.

To be fair it is how Christmas was adopted by Americans and made legal [Christmas was illegal in the 13 colonies it transferred to the states and lasted until the early 1900's. Of-course nativist's knew that the dominance of the Spaniards [not mestizos but Spaniards from Spain], Germans, Anglo-Saxon, Scottish, and French wouldn't last long with all the various southern and eastern groupings flooding to find a new life.
