Perhaps he took a good hard look at the facts. And the facts are that whites are the least likely to racemix in the western world. Within the general group 'whites', though, there is something interesting going on. Liberals are going extinct, while the religious right in the United States and Western Europe and the conservative parts of Eastern Europe are on the march. That's where white children are coming from now, so we'll see something interesting happening twenty to thirty years from now. We live in the most interesting time in history, though I doubt it'll be very peaceful.

Did you not read the OP? He's talking about a scenario where most people have the same skin colour. Not all people. That some people aren't down with putting a little mocha in their latte(or whatever) doesn't mean he's wrong.

That's not to say I think he's right. I'm not convinced of that.

So is that why there are specific genetic disorders attached to groups who reproduce in consistency?

I've read theories and stories about how, in the future, 90-95% of humans will look extremely similar.
The theory usually claims we will all have tan-ish skin and black/brown hair.
The extra 5-10% is for people passing down recessive traits like blonde hair and blue eyes as well as isolated tribes/groups.

What do you think, NSG?
Personally, I think it's a great thing.

I think society would advance at a greater rate if we were all unified as well.

Hopefully, at the current rate of globalization and what-not, it takes less than 300-500 years to happen.

In the sense that crippling genetic diseases aren't likely to become fixed traits, sure. But increasing the possible genetic distance between parents as much as possible has a non-zero positive effect at the population level. Increases gene flow, acquisition of new traits and the maximization of positive selection pressure.

See, I just just going to read a few posts then move on, but this caught my attention. I already knew my existence in particular was completely meaningless thanks to my time in school - It's nice to know that they were completely correct. So I'll go and continue my meaningless existence determined entirely by the colour of my skin until inevitably I end it.

If it's a genetically fit population you want, try eugenics. Otherwise, be advised that racemixing can be just as dangerous as inbreeding. Many African-Americans with at least one white ancestor have a gene that causes their arteries to slip for absolutely no reason, which is to blame for their enormous heart problems, which in turn form a fairly significant cause for their low life expectancy.

It's not inherently good or bad. That said, a society where everyone looks the same is a pretty weird thing to aspire to.

It goes by the theory that less difference will mean less racism; though unfortunately racism might still happen as ethnic identity can be quite arbitrary.
