Title is misleading, he didn't say blacks were better off as slaves, but he's trying to make a point about government welfare and the very poor state of blacks in America. Admittedly, it was poorly worded, but it's not nearly as racist as people are trying to make it out to be.

Bundy is fucking-over a cause near and dear to my heart (BLM mismanagement and excessive federal lands in Western states) with his ongoing dickheadery.

Fuck that guy. Seriously. I had a modicum of support for the guy out of sympathy for the principle behind his argument, but he's not doing it out of a principle he's just a fucking welfare-rancher with ass-backwards views on society and delusions of grandeur.

Fuck him. Fuck his Infowars buddies. I still think the BLM handled the situation poorly, I still think the BLM needs to have its authority and land-responsibility seriously clipped, and I still think the militarization of agencies like the BLM and even local/state PDs are a major problem, but Bundy quite clearly isn't concerned with any of that he's a selfish, aging prick.

See, there you go. The general issue is one that's worthy of some debate and discussion (though I still suspect that we'd come down on opposite sides), but this guy is about the worst representative of that cause that I can imagine.

I don't think his comment was racist. It demonstrated an ignorance in the understanding of the institution of slavery, and certainly lacked thoughtfulness, but I fail to see where the racism comes in. (other than his implication that the only people who live in public housing are blacks, I suppose)

I'm not sure. I know they took up his 'cause' two weeks ago after the dustup involving his son getting tasered and were very LOUD, but I'm not sure what they were saying about it beforehand. I do recall seeing something on Google Images that connected the name 'Bundy' to the Illuminati though, that could well of been them.
