Iran have been trolls ever since the revolution, with the government openly calling the USA and UK 'Great Satan' and Israel 'Little Satan'.

And the U.S. has referred to Iraq, Afghanistan and North Korea as the "Axis of Evil", so it is not as if Iran's the only one guilty of so-called "trolling".

What's so funny about that? Naturally they don't want a nation that has a different --and to them hostile-- ideological stance to possess nukes. Just like Iran wouldn't appreciate the U.S. having nukes had the roles been reversed.

I am very amused at the sheer balls of the Iranians. They're getting all sort of heat and bullying from the US about their alleged uranium enrichment program. They don't mind too much. Instead they just march into Iraq and take over an oilfield, and raise an Iranian flag on it.

It sure was a daring move I must say, and I was surprised when I heard of it on the news. However, after the long occupation of Afghanistan and Iraq, the U.S. has become pacifist for now, so I don't think the Persians have anything to fear. By the time a new war becomes politically possible to pull off, this incident --on its own, at least-- surely won't be a good enough casus belli; the media will probably have to play on the fear of eventual Persian nukes, to have an effect on the people.

What it means, is that we used two atomic weapon's to both demonstate a new technology and end a war quickly instead of doing a land invasion that would have cost many more lives

and that is used for justification that we shouldn't have them, being the only to ever use them in combat

is a pretty bad argument, seeing as how we had really good reason and developed those weapons for that singular purpose.
