Abortion

I'm Pro-Life, but I believe abortion can be allowed in cases of rape, incest, or if it endangers the mother's life. I also believe in the death penalty, since it has been brought up.

I guess both
pro-life because I believe it should only be legal in cases such as rape, when the mum's health is in danger, etc.
However, if someone gets one for a reason other than the above, it's not like I'd stop them, but I sure would feel sad

Publically I'm Pro Choice. Personally I'm Pro Life. What I mean by that is simply, I don't believe in forcing my opinions or views on others, so I'm Pro Choice. If it were involving my girlfriend/wife being pregnant, I would certainly be Pro Life.

Well, if it can cause the mother's death, she can have another if she isn't totally infertile, and for rape so she doesn't have to carry the man's child and be responsible for it, that rapist won't help her.

You can do genetic testing on pairs and work out combinations that are less likely to create genetic disorders. IIRC, the Jewish population of New York (or a different USian city, but I think it was NY) did it and managed to successfully eliminate a disease.

Still, that doesn't mean we should abort babies with genetic disorders, my aunt had Down Syndrome, she did nothing wrong.

well SHOULD doesnt come into it. a woman should no more be forced to have an abortion she doesnt want than to have a child she doesnt want.

but abortion for genetic defect is an excellent reason for having it done if that is what a woman chooses.
