It sounded somewhat middle Eastern, which I assume is Isreali from my prior knowledge of where you lived; however, it did sound a bit like you picked up a bit of a British twang.

It varies by recording, my fatigue, and my enthusiasm. Supposedly when I lecture I slip into a very fancy British accent, but I cannot confirm it.

Language recognition is not a problem I have. Hebrew is very distinct, though I never use it around people who don't speak it (I pretty much never use it these days).

Now? I use it for conference calls with teams in our Israeli branch. Though that's a tiny portion of our conference calls (most are in English), and even then we switch between Hebrew and English mid-sentence because we all speak both languages fluently.

Jewish areas outside of Israel mostly speak the local language and very basic biblical Hebrew. I don't speak the latter. It's a completely different language. They just share the same alphabet and some words.
