They wouldn't let Texas have unchecked control over America.

The Autonomous Regions Act
Why?
☑ Well, America is politically divided to the point where it can no longer work, if this continues, our nation will be in a wreck. We need to recognize the divisions in American society and fix them by letting Republicans and Liberals enact their own laws in their home states through a nice thing called semi-autonomy. This redistricting will allow both sides to move towards laws and a society they are happiest with, while not being hindered by people who disagree with them. It will ensure that everyone is happy while everyone will still contribute to the nation as a whole
How?
☑Politically divergent regions like the Midwest and South would be divided into two Regions of Autonomy, enabling all states or fractions of states in the region to enact their own laws through a region-wide Congress with an Executive Head. They would still pay taxes to the Federal Government, but they would be considerably lessened. These Regions would be the Midwestern Autonomous Region and the Southern Autonomous Region, as seen in this map.

It is fine until you tell us stubborn Texans you are going to cut our state in half. And to that we answer, "We'd rather be our own nation."

I guess, the good thing about the plan is that the borders are very flexible, pretty much anything could be added or subtracted with a referendum. But let's just say that Texas is all red for now, too lazy to edit it lol

Well if Texas is united then seems fair. But I would have put Michigan with the other more Liberal states instead of the Midwest region.

At this point, we've pretty much proven that not only can evolution happen, it pretty much must happen since it's basically impossible to prevent it from happening.
