Is Bigfoot Real?
That is the question people have been wondering for decades.From the boggy creeks of Fouke,Arkansas to the rocky mountains of Eastern Poland,from the historic sandbar at Bluff Creek,California to the highest peaks in the world,legends of hairy apemen have plagued the world for centuries.Now,NationStates debunks,rebunks,and does everything with the word "bunk" in it on the legend of Bigfoot,otherwise known as Sasquatch,Oh-Mah,Yeti,Yeren,Yowie (a lot of Y's,eh?),mountain dudes,hairy men,crazy apes on Mt. St. Helens,Momo,Myakka,Fouke Monster,Sister Lakes Monster,Ucumar...the list goes on.With the recent proving (technically) of the Yeti,many people are scratching their heads wondering if Bigfoot is next.Even with the Yeti debunked,there still is many apparent species of these "things" spanned across the world waiting to be found.I,personally,am a believer.But what do you think NSG?

Note:You can post anything as long as its Bigfoot-related,even your own experiences.

I can't say one way or the other until I have a corpse of a Bigfoot, sasquatch, or yeti. I have a suspicion that the creatures bury their dead thus making it harder for me to have physical proof so I believe they might exist, but without a corpse I have no definite proof that they do.

We need an opinion from the OP ... and perhaps some spacing in there somewhere between sentences ... or something. This ain't a blog, and it ain't the repository for all things cryptid, after all. Gimme some reasons why it ought to stay open.

There are 1000's of species that we haven't discovered yet.

Do I believe in "big foot" no. But I don't think its unquestionable that a large Ape like creature could survive undetected in the wilds of America or in the Himalayas, Just before we talk about it I want to see more proof than grainy video footage.

Fake.

How can we have gone so long not finding a single bit of evidence for this animal? Not 1 dead bigfoot. No bigfoot scat. Not an abandoned baby bigfoot.

Especially when humans are moving into what was previously the wilderness, you'd think that people would start seeing these things if there was a bigfoot out there. Aside from those people who were dead-set convinced bigfoot exists before they "found" their evidence.

Oddly enough, most of those species are underwater, and some in the rainforest. Now explain to me, where is there unexplored wilderness in America? And furthermore, do you know of any living thing whose natural habitat is the Himalaya's? I don't know of any.

No I don't know of anywhere unexplored in the US. However I know there is vast amounts of woodland, mountains, grassland ETC which whilst being "explored" does't mean to say that there aren't species of animal living there hitherto unknown to science. Also lots of animals live in Himalaya's and lots of others live in similar harsh climates.

Please don't think me a 'believer' in big foot - I'm not, I just acknowledge there are so many animal species yet to be documented or discovered, some of which may be different to anything we've seen before. True lots of them will be in the bottoms of oceans or deep in the rain forest but that in itself doesn't disporve the yeti myth.
