I am all for canceling the show. Not because of this incident alone but because I do not like the show and how it consistently targets the right wing and its values.

Let's cancel The O'Reilly Factor and Hannity while we're at it.

I'm honestly uncertain. If the majority of Americans are talking about this as they are on this thread, then no. It achieved nothing. If people are asking questions or wondering if mocking one ethnic minority at the expense of attempting to bring justice to another is the wrong thing to do, then maybe this is a good thing.

But when people are dismissing it as flat out satire, and that's it. No, it gives me little hope and frankly I wish it had not been mentioned.

You have to understand that Colbert wasn't making fun of Asians, but of Asian stereotypes...

But, I do realize that now. I'm kind of anxious for the next Colbert Report to see if he/his writers does/do so this stupid lady can stop being hailed as some kind of Twitter heroine...
