A few months ago there was this one girl who seemed nice, but I began to realize she had some problems. Aside from being generally odd, Yeezus Christ she was clingy. Capital-c Clingy, bordering on stalkerish. It fell apart when she gradually started acting more like a full-out case of BPD. I haven't seen her for a while (not active avoidance, just that we don't usually see each other much). I just hope she didn't do some crazy shit.

Now, I haven't really been interested in another relationship since for other reasons, namely a combination of on-and-off business and the sort of anxious funk I've slipped into during the "off" periods.

Heh, pretty much. Pronunciation thus far I've been decent with. Memorizing the various phrases has been a bit tough. I'm getting a linguistics student friend of mine who speaks Russian to help me out with grammar, because thus far it has been, in his words, shockingly similar to Russian grammar.

But yeah. I'd like to get a bit of conversational stuff down. I'd certainly like to be able to greet her and ask how she's doing, since it'll be a couple of months in between the last time we met and this summer. I also have to memorize "what type of doughnut do you want," what the various terms for doughnut flavors, and "good morning, [name]." Should be a linguistic adventure.

Makes me wish I wasn't so shitty with language.
