Don't mind you saying that at all - in fact, I agree with you.
It's odd because we were SO close. Like this is the most involved I've ever been in a relationship, yet it's been one of my shortest ones so far.

.....which is a good thing, I Love subs, lol. I got some jewelery as well. Just waiting for my unstable ex to respond back - if he does.

I know living with my fam isn't exactly bad.....but I'm an Extremely independent person..so I'd like to move out soon.. :/ but probably won't until I finish college or miraculously get married.

Thanks for the support, I really appreciate it. :)

Oh nice! I'm glad that things are going well for you on your birthday  I love subs too. Yesterday I was talking with Nana about how I love Mayo and Ranch on Italian BMT subs :p (yes, I am a glutton :lol2: )

Also, if he does or doesn't it shouldn't bother you. You already know he doesn't take you as seriously or even wants constant communication so why bother?

And well, finish college first, that's what's important. I'd only consider proposing marriage to a girl I'm dating once they are a month from graduating. College is important in my opinion. Of course, this is in general, I'm single

And no problem! Always glad to lend a shoulder

The West won the world not by the superiority of its ideas or values or religion … but rather by its superiority in applying organized violence. Westerners often forget this fact; non-Westerners never do.

The most fundamental problem of politics is not the control of wickedness but the limitation of righteousness.

I had a girlfriend, until she stabbed my heart with her stilettos. *Sigh. Oh well, to business. Any assassinations needed? (You'd be surprised at how many you get on dating forums)
How do you take your tea?: Seriously, very seriously.
Who the hell do you think you are?: I see myself as a mix of Don Quixote, Stephen Fry and 12 year old boy mixed into one very strange mind.
Are you always so modest?: Yes, though it takes a man of some character to pull it off.
Hey, your insensitive remark/insult/racial slur has me in a tizzy: Well, if you wish to cyber insult me, then do your worst.

if it wasnt meeting someone and just hitting it off, the time period between deciding "hey i want to ask that girl out" and asking her. in 75% of the folks i asked out, i already had a repore with them so there wasnt any nervousness in talking to them, just finding the right time to ask and being afraid to find out what happened if they said no.

Pretty much this.^

Girl I'm currently dating I've known for the best part of a decade, so I spent a couple of months going "Do I? Don't I?" and trying to find the right moment before going "Ah, screw it" and actually asked her out on a date.

Been to the cinema couple of times now (second time she asked me if I wanted to go), been to a party together, hung out together a few times and we're meeting up on Monday.

Everything seems to be going ok, but I would've been left wondering if I hadn't asked her out.

On a related note, how long should I wait before seeing about taking things a step further and actually have a fully fledge relationship?
