Aye, I have. Unfortunately, it seems the only way I'd be able to learn it is if someone who were an expert sat down next to me so I could question them.

The wiki is very good for that.

So I guess it is easier to publish to the web and on computer then consoles (I haven't published to console before so idk, Unity requires a special licence I believe... :( )

Regardless of why it is, though, is it not a strength of the platform that it has more games?

I cringe every time I see one of these threads. People just can't keep their opinions to themselves, can they?

How about both? And every other console and gaming platform made? What if I like everything and anything gaming? Or does that break the rules of Gaming?

PC is quantifiable superior to both in every fashion. The only thing dragging it down is dev's tendency to do shitty ports, but thankfully the indie gaming community has really taken off and is generally providing gaming content superior to the AAA studios.

Consoles can keep EA and Ubisoft and all the dross they pump out. The PC Gaming Master Race will continue to dominate the creative forefront of gaming.

PC may be unarguably superior, but I still prefer a good ol' fashion console. Why? Well... my internet is too shitty to download games, so Steam sales are just useless to me, I'm too lazy and unmotivated to deal with the setup of a custom PC and the effort to convert it into a couch and TV setup, which I prefer to desktop and chair, and I also really like Uncharted and Last of Us. Plus, I have a sentimental attachment to them.

Mods are super tempting though...

PC :p

Edit: But if I had to pick I'd say PS4. Over $100 cheaper and has the same performance (more or less) as the Xbrick One.

It always amuses me how the word PC always gets thrown in to a thread specifically about consoles.

However on the other hand, if this thread was specifically about PCs I'm sure PS4 and Xbox would be geting thrown in there as well.

Mods are alright, but they are not that great really.

Speaking as a multi Platform player (As in, a real gamer, yeah I get it, its assholeish but why not when everyone else gets to have that fun.)

Mods are fun, but it really depends on the game in my opinion, and a console is just a computer, just in a different design and all that.

For an average computer I find Mods to be fine and fun, but they can only do much, and from personal experience it does get annoying having to store it and all that.

I don't need Mods for say...a PS2 to have fun really, hell the Ps1 shall forever be where I got my greatest experiences (Or at least start them.)

Mods and Graphics are in my opinion overrated :P

They are all computers....personnel ones at that.

There is really no difference whatsoever between them besides the usual (Different graphics, frame rates, etc....)

Its all a computer, and people who vouch PC always appear to shell out money for a gaming PC or upgrades for it.

Thats a downsize in my opinion, I don't have to worry about that with a console, heck I prefer some of the older ones because of a lack of updates having to be done sometimes.

As I said though, I enjoy any console so long as it works and the games are fun.

PC has numerous more options than a console. Is far more personal and you can customize it as much as you want. Besides, the advantage of the controller over the mouse and keyboard in many games can be solved by plugging one through a USB adaptor, or even wireless, and enjoy.

Allow me to disagree sir. The multiple functions and overall potential of one system can overpower the other one with the fewer.

Don't forget that companies like SONY etc constantly troll you by making you buy a pretty expensive console (which will begin malfunctioning in a couple of years or more) and then releases another one, usually more expensive than the previous. The hand that feeds you, constantly trolls you. While I am cool and relaxed with my PC which I can upgrade as much as I want AND keeping it in an OK condition for 10 years at least, if I take good care of it.

Neither. Because both don't really add anything considerable to the field of console gaming compared to their predecessors. The only reason I see to buy any of them is because they are the consoles new games are going to be made for. If I had to waste $400-500 right now, I would go with the PS4 simply because Microsoft has been pretty frank about where they're going with the XBOX, a hellhole of DRM and pay-to-play agony. Microsoft quit it with that shit after a huge backlash, but trust me, they will slip it in inch by inch before consumers finally realize they've been X-BONED.

But, like I said, both are mediocre. So meanwhile, HEIL PC!

Well sure it can. As I said I acknowledge it's undeniable superiority. I just prefer console for personal reasons.
