Anyway, I don't like how people always feel the need to proclaim the superiority of PC over consoles.

I'd advise you take a look at Mass Effect, then - you might enjoy it. The second and third are more action-focused than the first, however.

My point is that, for any console exclusive you enjoy, you can find at least a very similar game on PC due to the far, far greater choice of games you have. And Halo is on PC, if memory serves.

You ask that question on a thread dedicated to proclaiming one gaming platform to be superior to another.

I'm not terribly up-to-date on the Halo series, as I've never really had all that much interest in it, so if that's the case, disregard that bit.

What is your response to the rest of my post, though?

And as a bit of a forum-posting tip: the button at the top right of the post allows you "quote" the post you are responding to. This makes following conversations much easier.

Reason #274 for PC superiority: how many micromanaging simulation games do you know of on console? Because on PC, it's probably 500x the amount on consoles.

Reason #274.5: Apply that to most genres of games.

The existence of consoles actively harms both gaming and humanity itself.

I could write an entire thesis on this.

Just to point out.... Its logical that pc would have more games available simply because well... Games dont just appear on disk out of thin air. hahaha.

Have you tried the Lazy Newb Pack? It makes a number of things easier for new players.

Dwarf Fortress is basically my bread and butter.

You do realize that both of the consoles have digital marketplaces as well, right?

I think that he may be referring to digital distribution.

Well i mean games are commonly designed on your desktops and laptops (Can you develope one purely on console??? Im not sure never looked into it...) yah know? So I guess it is easier to publish to the web and on computer then consoles (I haven't published to console before so idk, Unity requires a special licence I believe... :( )

Never heard of it.

Search it up. It's basically a completely packaged-up Dwarf Fortress complete with graphics packs, launcher, sound engine, and a few very useful tools.

Aye, I have. Unfortunately, it seems the only way I'd be able to learn it is if someone who were an expert sat down next to me so I could question them.

Regardless of why it is, though, is it not a strength of the platform that it has more games?
