Now, about all this religion thing, let's say again that I am an atheist/deist. So to me, all these worldwide religions are unreasonable and/or wrong in the first place. What we could consider a "god" may be a super advanced technologically alien race. But sometimes, some crazy sh*t gets in my mind (no weed or such, I promise ) and I have strange ideas.

Like if our universe is somekind of a cell, and along with other universes/cells lives inside an organism. We haven't fully explored the microcosmos yet.

Or if some beings have managed with their advanced technology in a CERN-like collider to create and support a universe safely, our universe.

Not that I have any proof of course, but it'd explain all the raining manna and quail in the OT.

Satan wasn't ever cast out. The verses used to support the story of Lucifer in fact refer to Nebuchadnezzar.

I gots an analogy!

So, I'm a friend's house and he brings out a big box. Thinking it's a funny game, he says "Why don't you try to figure out what's in the box".

I look and look, but I can't figure out what the hell is in that box. The more I look, the more questions I have- it's just too big. It's just too hard too figure out. There aren't any cracks to peer through.

I ask a friendly stranger on the street- "Can you help me find what's in the box?" He laughes. "I already know what's in the box, because a book told me. It's a superbeing, like a man but better. He made everything with His mighty hands, and we need to worship Him." I'm confused. It seems like anything could be in the box, but I don't think that a book is particularly good evidence and an entity that's so human just doesn't make much sense.

I ask a different friendly stranger- "Can you help me find what's in the box?" This one seems cynical. "There's obviously nothing in the box! People are using the box to control and manipulate you, and the truth is that the box is empty." I'm even more confused now. Can we really say there's nothing in the box when we haven't looked inside it yet? Doesn't it seem possible that there's something in the box? How do we know?

So here I am. Glancing at the box, wondering why the fuck everybody is so close-minded and if we'll ever figure out what's actually in the box.

But if you shake the box and don't hear anything in it, would you presume there is nothing in the box? Would a lack of evidence to anything being in the box not make you believe there is nothing in the box?
