Nothing like celebrating an Irish catholic saint with gluttony, lust and pure debauchery.

The fact that snow closed school today denied me the opportunity to see how many people I could troll by wearing my Scotland jacket and England football top. Woe is me.

I'm 100% Irish and living in the best Ireland, AKA The Republic of Shattered Economy. I mean, the Republic of Ireland, which is what most people think of when they hear Ireland. I hope. Due to the laws against me drinking alcohol, I have burned down the nearest Spar and took all alcohol and some Kit Kats in order to enjoy the time at the rubbish parade.

American food.

Corned been and cabbage is American food. Nobody in Ireland eats is.

There's literally nothing worse than a whole load of plastic Paddies running around drinking green beer and wishing everyone a "happy st Paddy's day!!!!11".

I agree with this Irishman, who says St. Patrick's is the worst day on the calendar.

The biggest reason? Pat's NOT IRISH!

In fact, Roman Catholicism did great harm to the already thriving Celtic Christianity, to which it was staunchly opposed. (The Celtic Christians had been influenced by Orthodox Christian ideas spread by sailors, so they were "heretics").
