In a literally prehistoric/medieval society?

It wouldn't matter whether or not they were homosexual or heterosexual couples in some countries, while heterosexuality would be more common homosexuality was allowed and some places even allowed the raising of children by two homosexuals... Greece, for example, while I'm not so sure about the children thing, had teenage boys/young men, especially Spartans, sleep with their masters/teachers.

Your link actually just says Hollande isn't pushing the rights of same-sex married couples even further. France has equal marriage laws ALREADY - which implies, as per ECHR ruling, adoption by married same-sex couples - and they're not going to go away.

The New Vendée can stick that up its sorry reactionary place where the sun doesn't shine.

In China? Last I checked, half of China's population identified as atheist (47% of them confirmed atheists). Russia has a large irreligious population as well, most of them in the middle-class too, and it is these people who make up most of the opposition to homosexuality. Russia as a whole views homosexuality as wrong too, with 70% of Russians in a Gallup poll stating they believe gays to be unnatural. So that's a very large number of people who don't believe in creation opposing homosexuality.

With the 200 gay couples I remember. Weren't they annihilated in battle against Phillip II? Anyway, the Greeks were an advanced society, which though religious, had a religion which glorified homosexuality as well. So of course you'd have large numbers of ancient Greeks supporting as their gods did as well.

As I said before, homosexuality has been observed over and over again in nature. Birds, mammals, reptiles, insects, all those species have shown homosexual behaviour. Clearly it is actually a natural thing, but ignorance happily makes people make statements without knowing jack shit about the thing they're talking about.
