If any of this was true, there would not have been over 10000 missiles fired from the gaza strip since the Israeli withdrawal, which brings the greater problem to the table.
If Israel was to simply 'give' land to forces which wishes to see the nation burn, it would not inspire cordial relations, but be interpreted as weakness as it has always done. When you have a jihadi political mindset in the gaza strip. IE, Hamas, alongside a very tough, very dedicated fatah which also throw punches under the belt from time to time, and an Israeli nation which has learned from past mistakes, being barraged by rockets making it unlikely to get a government which will want to appease and give free concessions, very rightly so in my mind, then you will have this kind of continual political situation for the long term until either a Jihad mentality dissipates entirely, or the Jews get driven into the sea. Fatah desires to play a waiting game to get UN backing as Arab influence is gaining in power and stands amicable to their plight. Israel desires to have settlements placed every now and then to further limit the influence and position which Fatah has to force them to the negotiation table, in which they will get a surplus of land including settlements, or face them with the threat of becoming irrelevant by essentially diminishing them in each way possible based on a map and population basis. If Fatah wins their political goals before this point, there stands little evidence that they will not push their advantage as many in their ranks do desire a full-sized Palestine which would require the destruction of Israel, and there stand no shortage of forces that desire such in the region.
Hamas on the other hand is entirely impossible to negotiate with. They have it in their doctrine to at best drive the jews into the sea or at worst kill every jew there is. Before such aspects become rectified, there will be no lasting worthwhile treaties between the two sides. Seeing how they have pushed their political opposition underground, it is unlikely that an election will rectify the situation.
Nope, i meant give land(West Bank) to the peaceful Palestinians, it is their land atleast the West Bank is.
Re-read and you will figure out why that won't happen.
