Ah, yeah, I remember that. It was the subject of an exquisitely flame-licious NSG thread some months ago.

Am I allowed a "FUCK YEAH"?
It was pretty evident the photographer was in the wrong, glad to hear the SC justices think alike.

I was never clear on this, why are transgenders exist? They fascinate me how they think as another gender but I don't understand. I googled it but I can't find any info.

Some people are born as a mix of both genders, its not necessarily a behaviour thing, it can be biological too. Most choose to have operations to make them one or the other and thats where choice comes in.

You can't force people to take pictures of things they do not want to. Just as LGBT people don't want to be discrimination by others we shouldn't be forcing people to do things that they feel are wrong.

Problem: professional and personal rights are different.

I have an unlimited right to not allow people I please in my house; in a business I lose some of that right because of the same reason I am compelled to follow business law. Your personal and professional shit should be kept separate, and this is a good thing.

Business owner should have a say in these things. If LGBT people visit a store you can't even notice that they are not straight. But weddings involve kissing and other stuff like that and it may be offensive to religious people.

And they're still a business.

If they don't want to follow a law pertaining to their chosen business then they should not be in that line of business to begin with.

So much misinformation. Congress has the power to regulate interstate commerce. That includes regulation of private business, affecting said commerce. SCOTUS has upheld this. There is an inherent right of an owner to discriminate, but at the same time, Congress has the power to curtail that right and they have.

Isn't it wierd. LGBT people try to fight against discrimination but they are starting to discriminate people that are religious or don't have same views as them. Won't get very far like this.

No, it really should not.

Consumer protection laws and anti-discrimination laws passed over the years prove you wrong.

Not people. Companies. Companies do not get to discriminate. If the owner cannot handle operating a company, they can hand it over to someone who can or they can shut down.

I am not LGBT, for the sake of this conversation. But I have been inside a business' operation; and your personal shit should never be involved in how you deal with your customers. It's what the "business rights" crowd don't get for some odd reason.

Hmm that leaves open a new way of challenging. Corporations are people!!
