Not entirely. The UK and Ukraine are two different places. WAY DIFFERENT places.

But the UK and Norway are basically the same? Come on.

I presume from the wink that was a joke. On the chance it wasn't you really cant deny someone the vote because you disagree with their politics. Nor can you deny the vote to migrants if they are long term residents of the UK.

Immigrants do not need a vote, the Brits take them in, the Brits decide. If I immigrated to the UK I would not expect a vote.

Yes they do. Immigration is only problem if you have no integration which then leads to ghetoisation and poor race relations. If you want to have succesfull immigrant communities they need to be given a stake in their new home AND encouraged to be involved in civil society. Thats how you get a country where people can speak different languages, have different religions and be different colours but still feel like a cohesive group.

I don't think they are actually advocating deporting existing immigrants (unless they're suspected of being criminals/terrorists), but will instead place a five year freeze on all immigration to the UK:

http://www.ukip.org/issues/policy-pages/immigration

Of course, this is still a bad thing - it's just nice to get your reasons for disliking someone right :)

It is in my opinion a spiritual/religious ceremony that would be best left in the hands of the people free of state interference. Civil unions, however, is how the State should go about this issue and such.
Environment: Another issue I couldn't give a damn about. Energy independence is cool though I guess.

Being able to move around Europe without a visa and being able to trade freely between member states are enormous benefits.
