Full time, software engineer. Previously worked for Google, then for myself but couldn't get the pay/hours anywhere reasonable despite how much I liked it. Currently at IBM, looking at going back to Google.

I'm a full time student, however I spend my summers working for the climbing and High Ropes programs at a Summer Camp. Job Description: Shit Pay, Shit hours, however there's free room and board, and I'm essentially getting paid to hang out and screw around(Safely of course). Also the satisfaction of seeing a kid overcome their fears. I've wanted to get a job at a climbing gym during the year, but there aren't any near my house.

I'm a high school student and currently don't have a job. Though, when I get my driver's license later in the year, I will start looking for one (hopefully I can find one at a music store/the music department at some store).

I deliver pizzas for Domino's, though I'm in training to be a manager. As for whether it's full time or part time, it depends on the week you ask. I get anywhere from 25-45 hours a week. I'm also a full time college student.

I own my own business, so call that a full-time-plus job if you like, and I'm going to college on the side.

My jobs morphed into a lot more accounting and organization and customer-interaction than I really like, but most of my time working is still spent actually fabricating and cutting and welding, so I can't complain too much (although I will anyways). Lately I've been doing a lot of fence repair stuff and the like, but business has been somewhat slower than it is in the summer months, which is probably good because it gives me time to spend on schoolwork and means I have to spend less time heating up metal and putting up with the balls-ass-cold temperatures that have been hitting around where I live for the last few weeks.

As to the school, I'm jumping hard-head-first into a bunch of math and science courses thinking/planning on getting a Chemistry degree.

I quit my job in 2012. I have been selling art since then, but I don't really make enough money at it. I am going to be screwed if I don't figure out how to make more money, and it has already been long enough that it would be difficult to go back to a conventional day job.

Last summer, I applied for a couple of jobs, but even applying stressed me out so badly that I spent all my time crying. I am so much happier with my art. I didn't realize just how sick of my job I was until I quit, but when I finally did quit, it was incredible. I lost about 20lb., slept a lot better, had so much more energy... I felt like I was 20 again.

If I can't make enough to pay rent, maybe I will get my driver's license, buy a used van or RV, and just live in the van/RV and sell art from street corners or the back of the van to get money for food and clothes and art supplies. It would be rough if I had to let go of all my furniture because some of it has been in my family for 100 years, and I am the type of person to get attached to inanimate objects. I already have donated a lot of things or passed them on to other people so that I don't have to worry about finding space to keep them. It's easier to get rid of things a little at a time, and I feel better about it if I know someone else will be able to use them. Mostly, the things I still have are the ones that have a long history behind them.

I'm in charge of secondary maintenance and trash pickup in the trailer park, as well as the apartments next door, as both properties are owned by the same company, I end up nettign enough to cover my bills and have a few bucks left over for booze, videogames, and anime.

I'm not sure if it's considered a job if you don't get paid for it and it's involuntary.

I've got quite a comfortable life without working for it.

It's a tradeoff. One option is all work and no play, and having money I can't have the time to enjoy. The other is all play and no work, and not having as much money to enjoy.

It is easier to budget my spending than it is to have leisure time not working while having a full-time job. I'm comfortable for now. I don't know how long it will continue, as it isn't something I plan on keeping up more than temporarily. It is an ongoing transitional period. But yeah, it's how I'm on NS 24/7, so it has its upsides.

I am a high school graduate, used to work IT administration on a server network. Was the head guy and only guy. Resigned/quit/fired last year over some petty issues with the boss. Been looking since then. So trying to join the USMC as a Expeditionary Ground Reconnaissance Officer, or Special Operations Officer, something that would get me deployed and I would sign up for life if I get excepted. But currently out of shape and 20lb to fat to join.

Yet you can still afford Internet and a computer or phone to be on here, I don't want to put you down or anything but surely it would be better to get a small part time job that wont stress you out and do the artwork on the side until it makes enough you don't need the part time job?

Last year of Sixth form now and have a part time job as a lifeguard, and once I go to University hope to join the TA until I finish university then join the regular army.
