Hmmm...I admit you may be right about this. I don't want to treat LGBT people as second class citizens, but I also don't want them to defile marriage. I am conflicted...What should I do?
Try to understand this, once and for all: You don't need to worry about your holy sacrament being defiled. Legalizing same-sex marriage won't affect your religious rites, much in the same way that legalizing interreligious marriage didn't affect your religious rites. Matrimony will still be between one man and one woman in your denomination.
