How about instead of sitting on your religious high horse, banking on your blind faith to get you into heaven along with your bigotry, you actually go out and do something to change the world. One day, you will beg god to help heal a loved on who is doing day by day in front of you. You will beg him to stop the slow decay of one of your parents as he slowly loses himself to a terrible disease. You will beg him to help your mother who gets progressively more depressed by the day, as your father loses the ability to walk, then to think, then to control any bodily function. You will beg god to do something as your father loses himself everyday, until he is no longer the person you remember. And, on that last day, when you hear his breath rattle in his chest, when you see his stomach distend and become huge, when he finally takes that last breath, and god did not answer, maybe then you will understand.
