Because it's too much bother not to exist, I suspect (based on what few facts we have at hand and all seemingly reasonable assumptions I think we can make).

Get yourself elected to Lord Of The Cosmos Across All Time And Space and then look out for life happening on some planet. Squash those few precursor molecules. I bet that the chances are that somewhere else on that planet a different version of life is arising that would have been outcompeted by the one you squished. Squish that. Oh look, countless other instances of life were daring to emerge.

And even if you go mad and deal with the entire planet in one go, you're still going to have to play Cosmic-Whack-A-Mole across your entire domain. Should keep you busy a while, eh? ;)

I highly doubt you are in a position to determine if the government considers me irrelevant, especially seeing as how you don't even live under the same government, nor do you know who I am.

1) The theory is that there is no theory
2) Do we need to know the answer? Can we even know the answer? By human logic we can't.

That's not what a scientific theory is.

This question is no better.

It's like flipping a coin, watching it come up heads, and then asking WHY did it come up heads?

It's governed by simple physical laws, but once it has happened you're not going to change anything by asking why.

Life exists. If it didn't it wouldn't, but that's not the case.

Human logic rather suggests we certainly COULD know, if we had access to the right data.

Maybe not need in the sense we need to breath, but it would be good to know.

Can we even know the answer?

I don't see why not.

By human logic we can't.

How so? And I actually think that human logic says we can, provided we ask the right question and have the data required to discover the answer.

Imagine Big Bang never happened. What would exist then?

Explain this:
Why is Big Bang such a new theory when humanity believes in God for over than 6 000 years?

Because for many centuries, scientific advances were held back by religion. Furthermore, technology only started evolving rapidly last millennium.

Time is irrelevant. Time does not add validity to an argument.

The Big Bang supposedly is something that just flashed and the universe was here. The entire infinite universe felt this flash, really? Do you realize just how big the object that created such a thing would have to be? Impossibly large to cover the infinite universe, plus we can't really prove the Big Bang actually happened, we would need the scientific method to prove this, and I don't see how we can. I think this option is illogical because of how infinite the universe is, also this theory just seems to be something scientists just put out there to counter the God theory.

...What? The Universe has been expanding - it started off much smaller.

I'll read it when I come back home.

But why should I believe Stephen?

I believe in the Big Bang, but I also believe God caused it.

But why should I believe Stephen?

Because he's an insanely intelligent, credible scientist that is backed by evidence.
