The Big Island of Hawaii banned GMOs a month or so ago, even though GM technology has several times saved important island crops from devastating viruses and the like. (GM papayas were grandfathered in but their growers still have to pay a continuous fee)

I just really hope that that kind of idiocy doesn't spread.

That study (at least the abstract) doesn't seem to say anything about Bt actually harming women or fetuses in any way, only that it is present (presumably in extremely small quantities, considering that it was never detected before this).

And we'd be more likely to notice the single actual legit source if we weren't simultaneously being faced with a barrage of naturalnews, mercola, and whaleto.
