There's a type of irony in it - the people they support tend to oppose the policies they support.

That would be true for many conservatives if you switched the places of "support" and "oppose". The immigrants some conservatives oppose tend to support their social policies.

It is pretty funny how liberals happen to advocate for people that hate them.

Though I don't agree with him, I doubt he means an actual conspiracy. Rather just that advocating for relaxed immigration policies has had the unintentional side effect of doing that.

I think Quintium's English is good enough that he appreciates the difference between letting people into the country and liberals bringing them into the country.

This. Like how most Muslims in Europe seem to have a very strong dislike for homosexuals and drugs.

There's a bit less of that in America and Canada, for whatever reason (from my own personal experience and what I've read. I admit I could be wrong).

It's actually interesting in some ways.People (including Muslims in specific) seem to assimilate better in North America than Europe. I think it's because these regions have had more of a history with immigration and how it gets handled.

No, though I really like messing with them. They need a good shake-up every now and then, or they'll get complacent in their smug world view.

I personally find messing with American conservatives is more fun. Because, you know, they actually aren't real conservatives like the ones here in Europe.

Which I find deeply hilarious.

I actually feel that if the Republicans eased a bit on their Christian and anti-immigrant rhetoric, they'd get a lot more votes. Many Indian-Americans I know, especially the older ones (the younger ones, born and raised in USA, are hardly religious at all), tend to be well-off, religious and conservative people. And a lot of them would support the Republicans, but some don't because the Republicans scare them off by advocating Christian specific policies.

They could also strike a deal with the Catholic Church to secure the votes of millions of Latinos. The Republicans should have a few bishops speak out for them, involve priests in their campaigns, and before they know it they'll be the largest party in the United States (since, at the moment, the Latino vote seems to be the key to winning any major election).

It is hilarious, and self defeating. I understand and agree with having some plurality of opinion, after all you do need some to solve problems well. But too much of a deviation will result in destabilization of a government and society.

When it comes to the Mexican band music, the band music from the Mexican State of Durango rules. Bands are smaller and the Duranguese (music from Durango) is generally faster then of other places in Mexico and the US Southwest. Remember, it must be from Durango. There music sounds better.

Eh. I don't know. I do recall some surveys and such stating many Latinos in the US (mainland, not Puerto Rico) becoming much more secular or leaving Catholicism entirely for Protestantism or atheism.
