But as you can see from the responses in this thread, there seems to be either a positive or a neutral attitude to this, with a lot of people celebrating this development. People here seem to be happy that whites will be outnumbered by Latinos, and I'm just stating that I'll be happy to see their other causes opposed by the people they applauded as they were coming in.

That would be true for many conservatives if you switched the places of "support" and "oppose". The immigrants some conservatives oppose tend to support their social policies.
