I don't like my country very much. Its government is kind of dysfunctional, the vast majority of people who live here aren't even from my country and hate it.
Attention: The views of my nation may not neccesarily reflect my own political views.

Canada, where healthcares free, we're not hated by Muslims, inventor of poutine and bacon, creator of VanossGaming, we don't spaz out at Brits, we bring democracy beyond two (lame) political parties, we have ice in our veins, so I guess I'm pretty proud of my country eh?

Mmm, poutine. A strong point.

Why would anyone be loyal to Rhodesia? It was literally founded on racism.

Im proud of my people, my culture and my history. I am not proud of the current Serbia, though, as there is nothing to be proud of.
But i would do everything possible to make it what it once was.

I'm afraid you'll have to be more specific.

I'm just being stupid for my own lulz, it's 3:38 and I have the effects of slapstick humor kicking in.

But I can't really say I am proud of my country('Murica) either, we do some stupid stuff.

No. I think the United States is basically a directionless society, and has as a whole, done more harm than good to many people in the world in the past 20 years. I think there is a lot of ignorance in this nation, and we tend to idolize past glories, without trying to create new ones (why not land on mars, for example?)

Because it's about 34 million miles away at the very closest point that's theoretically possible?

Well, we landed on the moon, and NASA has only gotten modest increases (all things considered) lately, not to mention we now rely on the Russians to ferry us into space.

Snark aside, the average income in this nation has declined in the past 6 years, and for many people, economic recovery has not really occurred, nor does it seem it will ever occur at this rate. Our political system is also racked with corruption, and we also have a lot of violations of the constitution.

Not to say I think I live in a total hell. I am grateful to the US for still being the country that generally "sucks less," but if things are just going to keep getting worse and worse, then eventually that will no longer be the case.

The moon is only 239,000 miles at it's closest point.

For accurate comparison

Moon - 00,239,000
Mars - 34,000,000

Mars might be a bit off topic, but it's rather interesting...

Thing is, we have the technology needed to get to Mars. It's basically just an upscaled version of the Lunar missions. But we don't yet know how people will cope with the trip, especially since it will be one-way only.

It's really just a question of will and funding. But since America is currently completely obsessed with profit and riddled with an anti-science attitude, I doubt that funding will come through any time soon.
