Why didn't I think of this before? :palm:
Say to Bob "Hey you go out to North Korea and kill some guy" and he would do that. and meanwhile I would go to Korea and get a job as an executioner and make sure I executed Bob. Then flee the country!
Then X would die. The end!
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!

Upon reflection....

X is the problem.

Bob is a target who's death is supposed to stop X.
Bob is not the problem but his death directly affects X in some way.

Morality question: Do you kill the innocent to stop the guilty?

Isn't that exactly what an intervention war is?

No I do not kill Bob. I contain X's reign of terror any other way I can.
I watch 1000 people die and feel like shit but I would have felt no different if I had killed Bob.

Bob dies. One average joe < One thousand average joes.
Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. Corruption is evil. Therefore, power is evil. Absolute power is absolute evil.
