What are "people like you"? And you're never going to find a Party that only focuses on one issue. I only know that much about Sinn Fein, so I probably won't be able to answer your question, but some of the others here might.

People wanting same-sex marriage legalized everywhere.
Parties that are socially progressive often have leftist policies like supporting the welfare state, so it usually works out nicely for me.

Well, there is no real one issue party, they all focus on a ton of issues, primarily the social and political issues between nationalist and unionist communities and trying to maintain a peaceful settlement, i guess the alliance party would be a solid neutral option, as they are not biased in favour of any one group and are made up of people from all over NI. Also what do you mean by people like you?

Well, Sinn Fein supports that, but I doubt you'd support their socialist policies.

What do you mean? As far as I know, the median is the line that divides the upper half of a sample population from the lower half of a sample population. And while the average IQ in the world is supposed to be 100, it's not perfectly divided with 50% of the population being above that and 50% of the population being below that.

You misunderstood. I don't focus on single-issue parties. I generally gravitate to the socially progressive ones that have the best chance of winning, because besides being socially progressive, those ones usually have a bundle of other policies I like.

It would be pretty close though, and certainly wouldn't be a "vast majority" on one side or the other.

Why would it be pretty close? If you look at Sub-Saharan Africa, the average IQ ranges anywhere from 60-85 depending on the country you look at, and it's not much higher in India. In South America, the average is below the magical 100 mark also, with averages ranging from about 80 (Ecuador, Guatemala) to 97 (Argentina). That, and the idea of 100 as an average wasn't even meant to apply to the world; it was meant to apply to industrialised western countries with a mainly European population.
Anyway, this is about Northern Ireland and not about Guatemala. The Huskar Social Union wrote:Is it wrong if i laughed at that?
Yes, I do believe you're going to hell for that. Protestant hell, since this is Northern Ireland we're talking about.
And I'll be joining you.

I'm not seeing how they are socialist other than saying they are socialist.
Abortion rights matter. :/
Even so, Sinn Fein seems to be the socially progressive one that stands a chance of winning.
