I approve the Québec and Vermont, but Maine should be with the rest of the Maritimes, tabarnak.

Also, there has been a pretty sizeable secession movement in Vermont, it has about 13% approval in the state (which is really pretty large if you think of it, that's over one out of every 8 people you meet there) and I'm sure it would have a much higher percentage of support if people had the general idea that it was a plausible thing rather than the general idea that the U.S. would forcibly crush any state which tries to seceed even if the people wanted to.

I'd wager 1/8 out of many states feel that way, they just haven't organized. Every time I go to Maryland, the East Shore and area around Annapolis seems filled with people fed up with the rest of the state.

Still, 1/8 won't win squat in an election.

You do realize it's pretty much already like that, just counties like Nauru and Palau are independent. They rely extremely heavily on Australian aid, though.
