We ought to respect it, since Brazil, like Germany in the EU, is the one supposed to benefit the most from this.

When I said economic efforts i was meaning to help ourselves mutually and to have close and strong economic relations so we could help all our Portuguese speaking brothers.

True. But than again this is a thread about your ideal maps. :p

Talking now serious, the best option for BiH tu survive would be to give an entity to the Croats (Serbs have RS; the Federation of BiH although nominally a Croat-Bosniak entity is dominated by Bosniak nationalists and amkes de facto s Bosniak as the case of election of Željko Komšić shows, the statut of city of Mostar and some other events show).

I'm also pretty sure the plurality of the population of Bosnia, the Bosniaks, would be pissed.

For legitimate and logical reasons.

Actually not all. The Muslim Croats Bosniaks of the Bihać region have very good ties with Croatia (they are economically depent of it and the many Bosniaks women from there are sending their children in Croatia and eevn have croatian citizenship). The one who would be pissed off are from the so-called Triangle (Sarajevo-Tuzla-Central Bosnia)

Hahaha, splitting countries up into smaller nations, how silly. The best way to do it is to have every country amalgamated into two giant empires or become an apocalyptic warzone.

Portugal could loose Brazil and the Indian colonies, but retain Angola...just maybe with South African support and US giving aid too.

I think that the maximum we could have retained (because the majority of its people wanted to stay as part of Portugal) were places like Cape Verde and São Tomé... all continental countries were against being a colony and they had the right to be free.

As i think that Portugal controling Angola and Mozambique and Guine is unfeasible .
Cape Verde could have remained ours tho.

Meh, we started as a pet project of one of your princes and the only people really antipathetic to you guys were people of color who ended up even more obliterated under white Brazilian rule than they would've under European one.

Though it would be harder to get more European immigration and industry and agriculture for our own needs and etc. if we kept not being autonomous...
