It used to be, my friend.
How about this: You guys copy our Constitution word for word, and then just edit parts that need to be edited so that it's better suited for Canada.

Depending on the region. I am sure that the system of how the USA runs will allow for the state governments of these areas to make their respective states quite liberal and hippy and what not. If anything, a nice boost of voters for the American left may be a good thing, no? So wipe up the vomit and take an Advil.
Dang Canadians always going the peaceful route!Libertarian California wrote:You know...they can achieve a republican status via voting.

But that won't unite America. The USA was originally supposed to span the continent.

Quite a few of our states are probably more liberal than Canada.

Yep. The west is basically our version of the American south, complete with oil, conservatives and giant flat areas filled with wheat. The only thing missing is the secessionism, but that's just because Quebec stole that before they could get it.

Doesn't Alberta want independence though?

Can we at least have a country that includes Alta and Baja California? Put in Arizona and Sonora for good measure, along with Chihuahua and New Mexico?

How is United States of America not a correct term. Is it not the Union of several American states?Utceforp wrote:As long as everyone gets a say and it's not just "USA annexes everyone trololol", I'm fine with it. The United States of America would finally be accurate as a name, of course, instead of being a close runner up to the "Democratic People's Republic of Korea" and the "Holy Roman Empire" in terms of intentional use of wrong terms in a country's name, but we've got to call it something else, obviously. In short, what would we call the country?
