UKIP isn't a person and therefore can't have views. This means we must assume the views of the counsellors are the views of the party.

To be fair, it doesn't mean he represents all the members of UKIP or even the majority. Granted, UKIP is not noteworthy for recruiting the most sane members, but...

Is this really suprising? UKIP is currently the UK anti-science party. Funding Homeopathy on the NHS and being opposed to teaching Climate Change... believing that gay people cause floods is a pretty standard belief for people who reject science. Not that all UKIP supporters are anti-science I should add, but their party certainly is.

Contrary to the propaganda, we live in probably the least materialistic culture in history. If we cared about the things of the world, we would treat them quite differently. We would be concerned with their materiality. We would be interested in their beginnings and their ends, before and after they left our grasp.

After Silvester's disastrous interview, in order to combat their airwaves-image of homophobia and right-wing hysteria, UKIP has started branching out into the Shipping Forecast.

If you actually have to ask me, then Yes. Yes, this is legitimate and real and in no way satire. No, it's not, but I'd expect it's easy to notice that.

Why, every God-fearing Christian knows that sodomy leads to the destruction of cities!

This councilor is one of the few who has seen the truth in this dark and godless age and exposed the sodomites and their travesty of a holy Church ritual for what they are - malicious miscreants who have brought the wrath of the Lord upon this world.

---

There, I sounded almost like a preacher myself! Maybe I could start up my own church - I could certainly use the donations... For godly purposes, of course.
Freedom doesn't mean being able to do as one please, but rather not to do as one doesn't please.

A fool sees religion as the truth. A smart man sees religion as a lie. A ruler sees religion as a useful tool.

The more God in one's mouth, the less in one's heart.

Any party that employed Geoffrey Bloom can never have a reputation as a serious proposition.

But I'm glad this happened, as it spawned my favourite Twitter account. UKIPweather is hilarious.

That was the basis for DailyMash's lead article today.

An organization doesn't need to be a person to have views.

If an organization's official view is that gays cause storms, then the organization's view is that gays cause storms.
