Exactly my sentiments on the matter. Though apart from Boris I don't think anyone in the party has the force of personality to all out like she used to. As she used to say, "They are all a bit wet!"

Not too wet to stab her in the back though.

The wet's were gone by then. They had been purged, of course the unfortunate part was that to hang around in her government you had to have a strong personality yourself. It was the people who she picked to replace them who thus did the stabbing. Her own dries.

So now you're jumping over to growth?

And have jumped over the last three quarters showing growth at 0.8, 0.8, and 0.5 (recent first) to a quote given after the last quarter that didn't have decent growth.

http://www.tradingeconomics.com/united- ... gdp-growth

How curious.

Yes how curious. After a double dip recession and the abandonment of the coalition's fiscal plan, we now have exactly the same growth as we had in the last two years of Labour and roughly the same deficit reduction plan. A wise man might draw a lesson from all this, but your a lib-dem voter. so you probably won't.

You mean instead of growth and a rising budget deficit, we now have growth and a falling deficit?

So are you happy with the government's current course or not? You seem to be jumping around in this doublethink where you want to both attack the coalition but at the same time claim credit for their successes.

Not an unusual position for a Labour voter, but a contradictory one.

Have you told the Labour party the coalition are apparently following their plans by the way? They don't seem to agree by how much they criticise them.

Actually, they've managed to implement 70% of their policies, so I guess that those who voted Tory got what they deserved too.

I actually quite like it. Stopped the parts of both parties manifestos's that I like the least from happening.

Labour, probably.

No party really covers what I'd want, anyway.

I live in England, so even if I wasn't an avowed unionist I couldn't vote for the SNP or Plaid Cymru.

I have no idea who I should vote for.

not really, its entirely consistent to say that I would like to be in the situation we are in now three years earlier with a government that isn't distainful of evidence, Xenophobic, Ideologically committed to shrinking the state (regardless of the economic circumstances), corrupt, corrupt, corrupt, corrupt, dismissive of the environment, composed of millionaires, and lets throw in casual with the truth..

All supposedly justifed by the fact that you needed tory policies to fix the economy. Since not even the tories think thats true I'd like a real Labour government please.

Because none of them stand in my constituency.

So the answer is yes you support the government's current economic policy?

So why are Labour attacking the current policy if it was stolen from them?

Without working my way through all those links, at a glance you're throwing in MP's expense claims, a list of millionaires, casualness with the truth, etc things that I'm sure the last Labour government couldn't be accused of at all.

Sounds good. I plan on helping out with the European elections, even though I can't vote. For the general election, depending on where I'm living will determine if I vote/campaign for Labour or the LibDems.

Though ideally i'd vote for a party closer to my political compass, but UKIP is the only one anywhere near my Political Compass at all, so eh.

I used to like UKIP as well. But I have quite a few gripes with their policies:
-They support increased defense spending.
-They oppose same-sex marriage.
-They support a 28% above-threshold flat tax.

The Conservatives have a proven track record for economic policy. UKIP have some bad ideas that I'd rather not see implemented.
