Hahaha I had learned to be more immune to them DVs...

And barely anyone knows I'm a Marcos supporter (which is why I will portry Imee as the "angelic, kind woman" in this book)

And now that I think about it... What if I'm in the middle of writing this book, then Martial Law gets declared? :( (I have been neutral towards ML lately)

Edit: BTW I'm currently creating a RoMee Tumblr blog

So uh, after reading recent news about how Duterte seems to be violating human rights along with telling America to go to hell, what are your thoughts on him now? In the USA here, he isn't being portrayed well. I wanted to get the perspective of actual Filipinos

here won't be representative of the general Filipino outlook. Most posters here are diaspora or from somewhat upper echelons of Filipino society. Needless to say there's few folks here who like Duterte.

Let me just say I'm a second gen from a more or less comfortable background, so I ain't judging y'all. I don't like Duterte much, either.

I prefer to call it an idiocracy, most especially since if there were only two candidates to choose from, everyone would have voted Poe as opposed to Duterte, at-least she's better than him. But instead our system allows for all the candidates to run and be voted on, which really divided the votes, and made Duterte a majority winner but not representative of the majority population.

Duterte is like Yolanda and the economy is like Tacloban, have a guess what happens.

I'm sort of concerned that it was ever 91%. Or that it is 76%.

In fact, I don't even know if this is actually that welcome or not...

(thanks for the update anyway).

Im not sure since there was a huge standard deviation during election durveys too between surveying and statistical agencies. 91% was the trust rating while 76% is the satisfactory rating. Not to mention a gargantuan percentage of the population likes the drug war (i forgot the specifics but it is around 70+%) although they want the suspects alive than dead. Only 8% did not support Duterte.

I honestly couldn't care less about crime, I'm deeply upset over his handling of the economy, treat the symptom sure, but when you worsen the cause of crime which is poverty through economic mismanagement, you incur the wrath of the educated citizenry.
