Except that the fundamentalists are also building hospitals, schools, etc. It's part of why they're so successful: everyone likes them for the hospitals and schools, and so they trust them on the theology.

Except that, going by sheer numbers, the majority of the world's nations at the very least keep homosexuality legal, including the world's most populated nation and the three most economically powerful, and while India recently re-criminalized it, its government is already on its way to legalizing it.
