You're just proving my point, which is that it's a bad idea to treat anything religious as the Infallible Word of God, because then you have people like Hitler and Bin Laden who sincerely believe that the horrible things they do are right, and who will use religion as a means to an end to encourage support.

I wont base religion off crazy people.

It's stemming from Western Evangelists, unfortunately.
They've lost the battle here and thrown their toys out of the pram before stomping off to africa where there are more social problems and poverty as well as bad education and political instability.
The best thing we could do is start taxing religion, and export over some atheists.

1) That's not what you said.
2) How do you know this? Any evidence?

1. It was implied
2. How else would the rate of gays who have AIDS be much higher than the rate of straight people who have it.

HIV is highly common among straights as well (AIDS is the final form of it).

please do stop putting my words in my mouth to get me mad or angry, or what ever your trying to do. If you believe that its not religious people not wanting same sex marriage then who is? Of course someone is opposing, because this wouldn't be an issue then

What? So you just post here to point out something so obvious?

you disagreed with what is obvious. Besides has this issue gone any where? no. I was stating is futile to argue with religion vs Civil rights.

Taxing religion interferes with the first amendment right.

There would have to be a train to wreck in the first place. It didn't even come to the station yet.

Not taxing religious organizations, on the other hand...

No, it isn't.
The ammendment is:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free excercise thereof.

Which means tax breaks for churches breaks the ammendment.
Taxing a church on it's profits isn't prohibiting free expression either.
