Well, I suppose I understand. Personally, I couldn't back a libertarian, but to each his own.

Yeah it is pretty odd for someone of my standing to vote so irraticly in regards to political parties. But I'd much rather have someone who is going to try and change things up in the state. Kansas is a pretty stagnant economicly and the budget is shit so even if nothing goes right we can at least say we tried to change.

And no last minute changes to make. My predictions are now locked in.

Just 3 hours of voting remain for parts of Indiana and Kentucky, and the rest of the country doesn't have too much longer either. If you haven't voted yet, please get out and vote, especially if your ballot includes non-safe races - your vote matters!

Damn, I'm getting jittery. I always get excited and anxious before elections, and as a democrat, I'm a bit worried today.

Less than 1% of the votes are in from that state, if I recall correctly. Don't be so quick to call Kentucky.

It's for this reason that I prefer the way the Brits do it, but that's another argument for another day.
EDIT: The Huffington Post just called Kentucky as well...oops, my mistake.

EDIT #2: Now Kentucky has been positively called by HuffPost for Mitch McConnell.

Both South Carolina seats have also been called for Lindsey Graham and Tim Scott.

The GOP will simply blow their Congressional majority on negroblocking Obama every chance they get and trying to mold the United States into the Republic of Gilead.
Crimes committed by Muslims will be a pan-Islamic plot and proof of Islam's inherent evil. On the other hand crimes committed by non-Muslims will merely be the acts of loners who do not represent their belief system at all.
The probability of one's participation in homosexual acts is directly proportional to one's public disdain and disgust for homosexuals.
If a political figure makes an accusation of wrongdoing without evidence, odds are probable that the accuser or an associate thereof has in fact committed the very same act, possibly to a worse degree.

I am a political junkie. I always take election day off from work. I will have about 5 windows opened at the same time. Will follow the Florida Governors race, the Florida US house district 26 election returns. As well as the overall Senate majority results. I listen to all the political commentaries I can.

Well...

According to CNN, Republicans win Ohio Governor race.

Jeez all these graphics and reporting remind me of the all-nighter that I did when the Scottish Referendum happened.

The West Virginia race has been Called for Shelley Moore Capito, thus giving the Republicans their first take of the night in either house.
