Brady played like shit almost the whole game, (even throwing two picks) until Jeremy lane was injured. Even then he had to rely on someone else to save his butt.

Brady got four touchdowns in that game as well. The major thing that Seattle lost it, but Brady still kept the team in the game.

Well yeah. He had Tharold Simon, one of the worst corners in the NFL to pick on for a good chunk of it. Any NFL QB could score 4 tds with him in. Hell most college ones probably could to.

Go ahead. I'll wait.

Obligatory “I'm not a Tom Brady fan, I'm just an objective observer of the sport” mention here.

Everything about the four-letter network is shit.

Yes, Tom is a terrible player who benefits from having a good D.

A player with a bad D can have stats that are just as pretty. Such as Drew Brees.

Gotta say, I don't like Brady. At all. That said, if you try to deny that he's among the all time greats, you're just fooling yourself.

Edelman and Amendola are underrated, and especially a former seven-round pick like Edelman is vastly underrated compared to the top receivers. Seattle's secondary was still good even with Simon.

Must say, second-string Giants kept him pretty quiet.

Seattle also had Richard Sherman, Kam Chancellor, Michael Bennett, and that entire Seattle D, which was phenomenal all year. I hate Seattle with a passion, but there's no denying that their D is stacked.

But on the other hand, a secondary is really only as strong as its weakest member. As long as there's one guy you can take advantage of, the defense will have trouble.

That is true. And that's something the Saints know...very well...

*Glares at Patrick Robinson somewhere.*

At least Brandon Browner is gone. He committed the most penalties last year with 24.
Referee: Pass interference, number 39. Automatic first down at the spot of the foul.
Now repeat the 23 times a referee refers to 39 on the Saints. That's that guy.

In fact, the most penalized player in history is Brandon Browner.

Not sure what you guys think of this escalation? The interesting thing for me Being British is the attitude of the police, I think very few people here would accept the Police potentially putting thousands of other people in danger over what one person has done. So having been following the story for while I would be interested what people over the pond think. Also opinions on whether the NFL is or is not right to not have standing a league rule as I have seen a few people not happy at that. And finally whether the franchise is right to not take any action?

I would add all this national anthem stuff at sports games other than internationals is really weird to me. A few years ago when I was visiting my Uncle one time I saw Manchester United play Inter Milan in the US, the US national anthem was played before. Which was probably the most surreal experience in a sports stadium I have had, watching two teams from other countries with no US players start a match off with the American Anthem just because the game was in the US.

The whole episode is slightly bizarre to me. So getting a explanations from people from the culture would help me understand a bit better I think.

First of all, WHAT DID HE DO WITH HIS HAIR?! AND WHY?!

Second of all, THIS IS A PROBLEM. ON BOTH SIDES. Kaepernick obviously is not going to stop what he's doing, and now the police are going to BOYCOTT THE STADIUM DURING HOME GAMES. THIS IS NOT A GOOD IDEA AT ALL. AT. ALL. WHAT THE FLIP.

Yep. Current Status: TrAinWRecK.

So, this is ridiculous. Yes, Kaep is basically flipping the bird to the police, and despite the disrespectful attitude, he has the right to freedom of expression. So no, this is not okay. Police are supposed to protect and serve, period. Not "protect and serve those whom they like" not "protect and serve those they agree with." Just do it. They're only giving Kaepernick's claims more clout. They're potentially endangering thousands of people because one guy dared to criticize them. If they really want to prove him wrong, they'll act as if he never said anything and just do their job regardless.

To echo Lumi, what a trainwreck. Both Kaepernick and the police department need to grow the heck up, and fast.

Considering how this election season has gone, in addition to all of this other crap, I agree. Send everyone back to kindergarten until they relearn how to get along :p

Relearn not to be hateful, xenophobic, and ignorant. That's what they should teach in kindergarten.
