One thing I have learned from the Olympics: CANADIAN WOMEN ARE SCARY. XD

AND CANADIAN MEN ARE LIKE......YEAH. MEDIOCRE.

Also, Korean archers are like Chinese Ping-Pong players :P

Yeah, I have some tertiary interest in the Backup QB battle because the end is nigh for Brees and the Saints if Loomis and Tom Condon can't get their shit together and get an extension hammered out. And I was interested to see how the new front line of the Defense performed.

...but yeah, that was prettymuch gathered around the 2nd quarter, lol

We had so many guys on IR last year that this preseason is a must if your a Raven fan. We have Lardarius Webb now at Safety with Eric Weddle. A competition for one of the corner spots and one for the Inside linebacker job opposite Mosley. Also some great young DL prospects. The offense has the usual WR competition with the return of Steve Smith from an achilles pop. WOnder if he's got enough for one more season. The RB position is loaded and fun to see what shakes out there. Then there is the new OL Ronnie Stanley who looks like a top ten pick so far. The Ravens are an enigma wrapped in riddled healed injuries. They could go 11-5 healthy or 5-11 if not. This preseason tells a lot about them.

Steelers (at home) lost to the Detroit Lions 30-17.
*yawn* Losing is indeed boring. :p

I wonder who's idea was it to have the Steelers and Lions to both host a practice at once?

Injuries can still happen, so play it safe, I guess.

Well, if yer a true fan of yer team preseason is absolutely a must to follow: simple point of uninterested, I parked the peterbuilt somewhere in the middle of Utah Saturday afternoon and got a $100 room/ 12 pack of buds to watch DALLAS/L.A.,,listen up baby boys and girls "we dem boys" done gots us a back up quarterback in 'Dak'(never got the memo on just how Kellen Moore broke his frickin ankle, anybody know?) Needless to say I was pretty pleased actually SEEING him drilling his first string receivers (not that I approved of them being on the field to begin with,,, that was straight up/ no chaser JERRY JONES flash call putting them in) although I was a bit disappointed not seeing the second coming of EMMET SMITH take the field,, all in all, it was well worth the lay over(their were 2 young couples wanting me to rendezvous at the hot tub around tenish , I told them all I had was my underware,, BOTH chicks said "that's all you need" smiling,,, SHEESE, I went to sleep after the game, woke up around 1 a m.,, you snooze you lose, gentlemen)

(I'm gonna forego the prerequisite Neil young b.s. today)

We can go 0-4 for all I care. It really doesn't matter whatsoever.

Pretty much.

Speaking of which, Sheldon Rankins broke his fibula, might be going in for surgery, :(

Nick Fairley was probably going to be the starter anyway, but that is a devastating blow nonetheless, he was going to have a big role to play.

Reggie Ragland is injured and out for the entire season before the start of preseason due to a torn ACL. They really need to keep their first rounders in bubble wrap. Remember Dante Fowler?

I feel like rookies are getting more and more injury-prone. Anyone else feel the same way?

If rookies aren't getting injured enough then one of them injures a star veteran player on some practice play which is far worse. :blink:

Ugh...so 8 weeks or so before he can play. Crud. Get well soon, bruh. :/

It seems to trend in a disturbing way.

What usually happens after the Ravens have a losing season?
Take a look at the year following the Ravens’ last four losing seasons.

2002: 7-9 record -------> 2003: 10-6 record and won the AFC North division title
2005: 6-10 record -----> 2006: 13-3 record and won AFC North division title
2007: 5-11 record -----> 2008: 11-5 record and AFC championship appearance
2015: 5-11 record -----> 2016: TBD

I see a trend.

The team doesn't have to play a game for someone to cheer for them.

You realize that's the case, right?

I may have liked the team when Manning was around, but, once he left the team, I decided to no longer cheer for the mediocre team.

I must interject this tiny tidbit: my father (Oklahoma Indian who lived in Indiana,, thus my birthplace) signed on to the funding of the Indianapolis football stadium, my understanding is one must be a resident and minimum $10k investment, yet it yielded an 8% annual return,,,, man, dad said that was the EASIEST $800 bucks he's ever made(he died a millionaire),,, er,,ah,,anyway ! So he's this huge Colt's fan now right, although him an me never got along since I turned bout 15/ blood feud/ hate.
When the Colt's franchise refinanced the total loan they paid off their state investors (dad),, needless to say he wasn't a 'happy frickin camper',,LOL,, although he was a warpath rooting life long redskins fan he harboured some closeted Colt's love.

Not that any of you could care less but I ifigure MY B.S. posts are just as good and a damn sight more ENTERTAINING than a whole sack full of any yours!
