That's why I don't play American football. I don't want my neck crooked or disfigured.

That does not negate the fact that you can get severely injured in hockey and other sports, just like you can in football. It isn't unique to one sport.

Just pointing out the fact that football isn't really anymore dangerous then any other contact sport.
