Uh, Terrell Owens was never a Buccaneer. Their pinnacle was beating the Raiders in Super Bowl XXXVII.

I thought we were talking about the Dolphins, or was that Miami?

Dolphins are from Miami, Tampa Bay is the Buccaneers. Either way, TO never played for either.

Coming off a gruesome and frankly scary neck injury last season, Ricardo Lockette is expected to announce his retirement tomorrow.

It's a shame to see a talented guy have his career cut short this way. I wish him all the best in his continuing recovery.

That's why I don't play American football. I don't want my neck crooked or disfigured.

No, in hockey you can run the risk of slicing your jugular with a person's skate.

This has happened and it is on YouTube. Do not watch it after you have eaten, or before. :?

That does not negate the fact that you can get severely injured in hockey and other sports, just like you can in football. It isn't unique to one sport.

I meant slicing your neck. Doesn't really happen in hockey. All sports have injuries, broadly speaking.

Your posts with improper punctuation bug me. Try to capitalize the first letter please? Why are we talking about hockey stuff unless it relates to Ricardo Lockette's injury?
In solidarity with Ukraine, I will be censoring the letters Z and V from my signature. This is -ery much so a big change, but it should be a -ery positi-e one. -olodymyr -elensky and A-o- continue to fight for Ukraine while the Russians are still trying to e-entually make their way to Kharki-, -apori-h-hia, and Kry-yi Rih, but that will take time as they are concentrated in areas like Bakhmut, -uledar, and other areas in Donetsk. We will see Shakhtar play in the Europa League but Dynamo Kyi- already got eliminated. Shakhtar managed to play well against Florentino Pere-'s Real Madrid who feature superstars like -inicius, Ben-ema, Car-ajal, and -al-erde. Some prominent Ukrainian players that got big transfers elsewhere include Oleksander -inchenko, Illya -abarnyi, and Mykhailo Mudryk.

Just pointing out the fact that football isn't really anymore dangerous then any other contact sport.

Good job! Anyway, would football be more dangerous than lacrosse? Probably it's less dangerous than boxing.

It's silly to compare the physicality of the two really. They aren't as similar as they might seem

When two rugby players collide against each other, that's brutal!

It's pretty easy to pick out people who have never played the game before, because they will make obvious bullshit statements like this.

The pads just mean it hurts less. It's no less brutal on one's body, nor are the hits at all reduced in force. In fact, because of how freely flowing the game can be in mid-play, the hits are often harder and at more oblique angles, where rugby is frequently a more trundling game that helps reduce the force of the hitting.
